Give a Kid a Chance, Delaware held at the CCC

School has started and the financial stress of preparing a child for the school year can be burdensome for many families. Give a Kid a Chance, Delaware wanted to help these families send thier children off to school on the right foot.

The gym was filled with fun and excitement for the new school year as children were getting thier faces painted and visiting with Elmo. They also got a sack lunch, a free haircut, a new pair of sneakers, a medical checkup, dental screening, and a backpack filled with school supplies.

This is in part to prepare for the upcoming District Council in May and also just to get the CCC prepared for business. Thank you for your donations to the annual Thanksgiving Clothing Closet. The CCC was open on Thanksgiving day giving away bags upon bags full of clothes, shoes, and misc. items to families in need.

As a part of our annual community outreach Thanksgiving Feast, Calvary Assembly of God also holds a clothing closet for those in need.  It will be open on Thanksgiving day from 11:30am to 2:30pm at the CCC.

If you would like to donate to the clothing closet- please drop off your donation after November 18th between 9am and 5pm Monday through Friday at the main front doors.
